राष्ट्रिय अपाङ्ग महासंघ नेपाल देशैभरी छरिएर रहेका अपाङ्गता भएका व्यक्तिको हक अधिकारको संरक्षण गर्न वि. स.२०५० सालदेखि निरन्तर कृयाशिल एकमात्र राष्ट्रिय छाता संस्था हो । यस संस्थाले नीति निर्माणमा अपाङ्गता भएका व्यक्तिका सवालहरूलाई समावेश गराउन र बनेका नीतिहरूको कार्यान्वयन गराउनको लागि विशेष भूमिका खेल्दै आएको छ । राष्ट्रिय अपाङ्ग महासंघ नेपालले पछिल्लो समयमा अपाङ्गता समावेशी विकास, निर्णय प्रक्रियामा अपाङ्गता भएका व्यक्तिको प्रतिनिधित्व सुनिश्चित गर्न, सदस्य सँस्थाहरु (DPOs) र अन्य सरोकारवालाहरुको क्षमता विकास, CRPD को कार्यान्वयनमा काम गरिरहेको छ ।

National Federation of the Disabled Nepal (NFDN) is the national umbrella organization of persons with disabilities representing more than 331 member organizations throughout the country. NFDN has been working for promoting the rights of persons with disabilities by contributing for disability inclusive development, ensuring representation of persons with disabilities in decision making process, capacity building of Disabled Peoples’ Organizations (DPOs) and other stakeholders, implementation of CRPD and disability specific national legal frameworks and awareness raising on disability rights. As the representative of most marginalized community NFDN is recognized as the pioneer and facilitator for bringing disability related policies and laws in Nepal.

अपाङ्गता भएका ब्यक्तिहरु द्वारा संचालित संस्थाका सदस्यहरुलाई स्वास्थ्य र पुनर्स्थापना सम्बन्धि अभिमुखीकरण कार्यक्रम सम्पन्न

राष्ट्रिय अपाङ्ग महासंघ नेपाल प्रदेश नं १ र २ को आयोजनामा अपाङ्गता भएका ब्यक्तिहरु द्धारा संचालित संस्थाका सदस्यहरुलाई स्वास्थ्य र पुनर्स्थापना सम्बन्धी अभिमुखीकरण कार्यक्रम सम्पन्न भएको छ । संखुवासभाको खाँदवारी र महोत्तरीको बर्दिबासमा गरिएको उक्त कार्यक्रमहरुमा कुल १२ जिल्लाका १५ वटा संस्थाका ४२ सहभागीहरु रहेका थिए जसमध्ये २४ जना शारीरिक, दृश्टी सम्बन्धी ४,  बौद्धिक अपाङ्गता अभिभावक ४ र अन्य सहभागी १० जना उपस्थित हुनुभएको थियो ।
