Renovation of NFDN's central office


Vice President of NFDN laying first stone for accessible toilet at NFDN Central Office

 NFDN started renovating the internal physical design and set-up of its central office to make the office more accessible for persons with disabilities and for ensuring more comfortable working environment for the staff and board members. In the support of Australian Embassy, the renovation started on 4 March 2014 which is expected to complete by the end of March. At the same time NFDN has also started making new toilet in the office premises which is fully accessible for persons with disabilities in line with the accessibility standard of Nepal Government. Laxmi Group has supported to make this toilet under their Corporate Social Responsibility. The construction of toilet was begun laying first stone on the site by Ms. Deepawali Sharma, the vice-president of NFDN on 9 March 2014. The construction of the toilet is also expected to complete by the end of March.
